6th International ESD - Workshop DRESDEN 2004 -
1st International Panel Symposium ESD 2004

After the realization of 5 successful ESD – Workshops in the last years, the this year’s 6th International ESD – Workshop took place from 7th – 8th September. The range of speakers and themes involved the consideration to rename the workshop in the future to “International Panel Symposium ESD”. So the 6th International ESD – Workshop beared the name „1st International Panel Symposium ESD“.

The reports and lectures were so geared, that physical and technical basics defined the content among many practical themes. Nevertheless, the concept of the symposium addressed to ESD – coordinators and specialists as well as interested parties to the theme ESD. This year the approved introduction seminar „ESD – Basics and Standards“ were arranged in the run-up to the symposium for interested „non-specialists“ and laymen or for the simple repetition.

The coordination of the works is so important just like … to keep on the thoughts about ESD! Just these thoughts were cherished in the last years, when the approved international ESD – Workshop was arranged. And so, it was this year too.
